How referrals work

From letter to first appointment.

A consultant-led, acclimatisation-first pathway. Triage prioritises urgent trauma and complex medical need.

  1. Step 01

    Send the referral

Use the secure form, or email the clinics directly. Include medical history, presenting complaint, and any radiographs.

  2. Step 02

    Triage within 5 working days

Urgent trauma is seen within a week. Complex elective cases are booked into the right clinic for the child's needs.

  3. Step 03

    First consultation

Acclimatisation-first. We meet the child, take a history, and agree the next step with the family before any clinical work.

  4. Step 04

    Plan shared with you

A typed clinical letter goes back to the referring clinician within ten working days, copied to the GP.

From a referring colleague
“I have referred a number of complex paediatric cases to Dr Kunal, every patient and parent was singing his praise, with treatment delivered to a very high standard. Highly recommend for any paediatric dental need.”
